Memorial Funds
Dave Sanders- A memorial fund has been set up for Columbine coach and teacher Dave Sanders, who was hailed as a hero for his efforts to lead students to safety during Tuesdayıs shooting rampage. Established by the Colorado Masons fraternal organization, the fund will provide scholarships to graduating seniors at Columbine.
Tax-deductible contributions may be made to the Dave Sanders Memorial Scholarship Fund, Account No. 1242346, c/o Mountain States Bank, 1635 E. Colfax Ave., Denver 80218.
Matt Kechter - A fund has been set up in the name of sophomore Matt Kechter. New Century Energies Inc., parent of Public Service Company of Colorado, set up the fund. Kechterıs mother works for the company. Donations can be made at any Public Service Company Credit Union. They can be sent to the Matt Kechter Memorial Fund, PSCCU, 7055 East Evans Ave., Denver 80224.
Dan Rohrbough - A memorial fund has also been established in freshman Dan Rohrboughıs name. Donations can be sent to The Petrone Scholarship Fund, in care of Norwest Bank, 8500 W. Bowles Ave., Littleton 80123.
Lauren Dawn Townsend - A memorial fund in remembrance of senior Lauren Dawn Townsend has been established. Contributions may be made to the Lauren Dawn Townsend Memorial/Scholarship Fund, c/o Everen Securities Inc., 165 S. Simms No. 900, Lakewood.
Kyle Velasquez - A memorial fund has been established in the name of sophomore Kyle Velasquez. The family asks that contributions be sent to the Kyle A. Velasquez Memorial Fund, c/o Drinkwine Family Mortuary, P.O. 650, Littleton 80160-0650.
Kelly Fleming - A memorial fund has been set up for Kelly Fleming. Donations may be mailed to The Kelly Fleming Memorial Fund, c/o Everin Securities Inc., 8005 S. Chester St. No. 300, Englewood 80112. Contacts for the fund are Michael F. Maurer or Bret A. Roberts, 303-925-8500 or 1-800-300-9648.
